I’ve received so many requests for a post on workout clothes, so here it is. It won’t be too long because I usually get my fitness clothes from just two places.
First up is Victoria’s Secret Sport. They have the best sports bras, in my opinion. Whether I’m post-breast reduction or not, these bras keep everything in place without being uncomfortable. My favorites are the front-zip styles—they’re super easy and comfy to put on and take off.
The second place I shop is TJ Maxx or Marshall’s. They offer a wide variety of brands and styles, so there’s something for everyone. My advice is to try things on before you take the tags off. I’ve ended up with a bag full of workout pants that I only use for painting or outdoor chores because they weren’t great for actual workouts. I prefer my pants to be comfortable enough to wear all day without losing their snug fit.
As I hit new fitness milestones, I like to reward myself with new workout clothes. But don’t go splurging on gear until you’re sure you’ll stick with your routine. Set a budget and think of new fitness gear as a reward you need to earn!
