Weekend Two of Coachella is underway, and while we can dream about hitting up the LA festival, we’re focusing on planning for festivals closer to home.
A bunch of Irish influencers made the trip to Coachella, and we’re drawing inspiration from their festival looks for our own upcoming festival shopping.
Here’s a roundup of festival trends they showcased:
**Matador Hats**
Hats are a must-have for festival style. Not only do they add a stylish touch, but they also help keep the sun off your face. This year, the Matador hat is the standout choice, as seen on Erika Fox, also known as Retro Flame, at Coachella.
**White Boots**
While black boots are a popular choice for festivals (or wellies if it’s rainy), white boots were a major trend at Coachella. Both Niamh Cullen and Retro Flame rocked white boots during Weekend One. They may not be the most practical, but they make a striking addition to a boho outfit. Just be sure to bring some wet wipes for any dirt!
**Bandana Tops**
Louise Cooney wowed at Coachella with her simple yet stylish bandana top. Though her exact top from ASOS is no longer available, Nine Crows offers similar bandana tops. These tops are a great addition to any festival wardrobe and are now on our wishlist.
**All Red Everything**
Red has been a major trend this year, and Belle Azure’s all-red outfit at Coachella has us wanting to embrace the look ourselves. Whether it’s a playsuit or a matching set, an all-red ensemble is a great way to stand out and make a bold statement.
**Fringed Denim**
Fringe is a classic festival look, and adding it to denim pieces gives a cool Western vibe. Aideen Murphy’s distressed denim jacket with fringe at Coachella inspired us to add some fringe to our own denim for the festival season.
With these trends, you’ll be ready to make a stylish statement at any festival.
